CRYPTIDS OF NORTH AMERICA
This creature compendium catalogs a selection of cryptids found across North America; enigmatic beings of folklore from both past and present day. Each page features a short biography and creepy cryptid, illustrated with a mix of water-soluble graphite and graphite pencil. Utilizing the phenomena of pareidolia as the basis for the book’s creature designs, each drawing was born from a randomized blot. Like cloud watching with water-soluble graphite these beasts were rendered to life from a purely subconscious place.
